about Tourmaline Pink
Tourmaline is a crystal silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium. Pink Tourmaline is the lighter tone and saturation levels of strongly purplish red, slightly purplish red, and red. Red Tourmaline that is deeper in tone and saturation are called Rubellite tourmaline in the gemstone trade. Rubellite is derived from the Latin word for red. Tourmaline is a October bithstone.
